Winchester is a short drive up the road from our Front Royal yard, and we’ve planted trees there. We deliver and plant big trees, and move existing ones, across the city and Frederick County.
A note for apple country
Frederick County is apple country. If you’re planting an evergreen screen near apple or crabapple trees, skip Eastern red cedar: it’s an alternate host for cedar-apple rust. Spruce, holly or arborvitae are safer choices near orchards and backyard fruit trees. Winchester takes its trees seriously, too. It’s a longtime Tree City USA community, and a big shade tree fits right in.
